Delhi CM Kejriwal writes to PM Modi demanding new vaccine centres to vaccinate entire Delhi within 3 months
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has written a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting for relaxation of ages for vaccination.

On Monday, April 5, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding the relaxation of ages for Covid-19 vaccination.
In the letter, Delhi Chief Minister has urged PM Modi for relaxation in conditions for opening a new vaccination centres as well as relaxation in the age limit for vaccination and making it available for all. He also added that if the conditions for opening new vaccination centres are relaxed and vaccination is openend for all, then Delhi Government will be able to vaccinate all citizens of Delhi within 3 months.
In his letter, CM Kejriwal also writes that if the conditions for opening new vaccination centres are relaxed and vaccination is opened for all, then Delhi Govt will be able to vaccinate all citizens of Delhi within 3 months.

On April 4, Delhi recorded 4,033 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, it is city’s highest daily count after December 4, while 21 people died due to the coronavirus infection, taking the death toll to 11,081 on Sunday.
Also, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain talked about current preparation done by Delhi Government to tackle the increase of Covid-19 patients in the city, he said, “Random testing is being done at a fast pace in Delhi. We are doing more than 80,000 tests daily. There were 86,899 tests done yesterday. We are doing 5 times more tests in Delhi than that of the national average. Micro-containment zones will be designated in areas with more than 2 cases,” as quoted by ANI.

Central Government has already announced that from April 1, all people above 45 yrs of age will be eligible for vaccination. Advance appointment can be done through cowin.gov.in. If you don’t want to do this, you can go to your nearest vaccination centre after 3 pm to have on-site registration.
