The developer has made the announcement via its official Twitter handle. The tweet reads, “All of us at TT Games is working hard to make LEGO® Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga the biggest and best-ever LEGO game - but we're going to need more time to do it. We won't be able to make our intended Spring release date, but will provide updated launch timing, as soon as possible”.
In the tweet, TT Games has mentioned that they are working hard to make the Lego Star Wars game reality, however, they won’t be able to make it at the set Spring launch time. Also, they have confirmed that the upcoming Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be their biggest and best-ever Lego game.
The developer has also not yet confirmed any future tentative launch date for the game, however, they have confirmed an update on the game’s development as soon as possible.
For those unaware, the developer earlier launched the trailer for the game back in 2019 and it was earlier expected to release in 2020. It was then delayed to Spring 2021 and now it has been delayed once again indefinitely.
However, the saving grace is that developers have not canceled the game yet, they just need more time to bring the trailer-like gaming experience to reality.
