Physical Rubber prices witnessed some strength on Saturday, kindled by rise in demand for the commodity from international and domestic markets. Technical buying at prevailing lower rates also lifted the commodity.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 170.50/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 170.00/kg; while the RSS-5 variety rose to Rs 168.00/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 167.50/kg.
In the futures market, April delivery rose by 0.10% to Rs 170.71/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 170.42/kg on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
