PRATAPGARH: A case has been registered against 13 people Pratapgarh district in connection with the busting of a unit manufacturing illicit liquor, police said on Monday.
SP Akash Tomar said the unit was busted in Babuganj Bazar under Kunda police station limits late Saturday night during a raid jointly conducted by the police and the excise department.
Police had also seized liquor worth Rs 50 lakh from a shop during the raid, Tomar said.
He added that 13 people have been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Excise Act.
