Katrina Kaif's COVID-19 positive news came on April 6. Katrina shared on her Instagram account, "I have tested positive for Covid-19. Have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I’m following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately too. Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care." Abhishek Bachchan's upcoming web series The Big Bull co-star Nikita Dutta has tested positive for coronavirus. In a statement, she shared, "I am actually feeling pretty good. Nevertheless, I am in complete isolation. Currently using technology to the best of use. Have been doing all my interviews via zoom calls or phone calls. Since I tested positive, I couldn't be a part of the promotions offline but it's fine. My friends and family have kept me sane and in high spirits. Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain fame Shubhangi Atre tested positive for Covid-19. The actor shared a video of herself on April 7, giving her health update. In the video, she shared that she is feeling better now while the last few days were bad. She had a sore throat and has lost her sense of smell and taste. Akshay Kumar has been hospitalised after testing positive for the coronavirus. He shared a post on Instagram on Sunday, “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself.” On Monday, he said he has been hospitalised as a precautionary measure, "Thank you everyone for all your warm wishes and prayers, they seem to be working I am doing fine, but as a precautionary measure under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. Govinda has tested positive for COVID-19. His wife, Sunita Ahuja confirmed the actor’s diagnosis to indianexpress.com. Sunita, who recently recovered from the infection herself said, "We got the report today only and Chichi’s (Govinda) report came positive. He is doing fine, has very mild symptoms, and has quarantined at home and we are constantly in touch with the doctor who is guiding us and keeping an eye on his symptoms." Veteran singer and music composer Bappi Lahiri tested positive for COVID-19 recently. His daughter Reema Lahiri Bansal confirmed his diagnosis on Wednesday night and shared that he has been admitted to south Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital’s ICU ward, given his age. In a statement, Reema wrote, “Bappi Da has exercised immense precaution but has been detected with mild Covid symptoms. He has been admitted under the care of Dr Udwadia at Breach Candy Hospital purely as a precautionary measure due to his age. He will be fine and home soon.
