People have always disliked you your entire life and you don't know why, so as a defense mechanism against the constant rejection you've learned to invent reasons to make people dislike you even more. This way you have yourself convinced that you actually like being disliked and it's your own choice to make people hate you, rather than it be something out of your control (ugly, short, chitty personality etc.)
