Really getting bummed about this. We live in a really quiet neighborhood. Part of why we moved here was a perception that it would be a nice community vibe.
4 of our 5 closest neighbors won't even acknowledge us outside in the evenings. The one that does is super short and usually just complains to us. Never imagined people would be so standoffish after over 3 years.

lmao have had dick neighbors aplenty. Used to live next door to some phaggot middle-aged bus driver. He started banging on my door one day, complaining about the noise when my bro was playing drums. In short the only way he would have been able to hear him playing was if he had his windows open and he was listening really hard. We had a workshed with a drumset in it and I couldn't really hear it too much with all the windows in the house closed and I was watching TV at a normal volume. He complained that he works a night shift and he needs his sleep. He didn't exactly come over in pajamas or anything so I don't know wtf to think about that. Bottom line was he was the only neighbor to complain about the drums out of all 5 neighbors.
Had another neighbor with a dog that would not stop fukcing barking. Legit if any one of us were in our backyard the dog would just stand at the fence and bark at us nonstop for about an hour. Then the fatass inbred comes walking out of his house and started yelling at us for not yelling at his dog to shut up. lolwtf? what a retard. yeah buddy I'll hop the fence and beat the **** out of your dog too, no problem. stupid mother ****er. He wised up real fast when the aforementioned bus driver ended up calling animal control on his ***got dog. He tucked his limp dick between his legs from that day on.

Got a hardcore 7th Day Adventist on one side (on bad terms, last couple of interactions I shut him down immediately and dont even acknowledge him anymore the POS - boomer receiving pensions from multiple countries).
On the other side are some other boomers, nice enough to your face but definitely 2 faced.
It could be a lot worse of course. I count myself as lucky."The greatest feeling you can get in a gym, or the most satisfying feeling you can get in the gym is... The Pump. Let's say you train your biceps. Blood is rushing into your muscles and that's what we call The Pump. You muscles get a really tight feeling, like your skin is going to explode any minute, and it's really tight - it's like somebody blowing air into it, into your muscle. It just blows up, and it feels really different. It feels fantastic.
It's as satisfying to me as, uh..."

I live in a terrace house with thin walls, as it was cheaply built. The 'bours sometimes play bass music which goes right through the house. Very rarely after around 8pm though, and only a few times this year. They used to go gardening at 11.30pm ish, and the garden light and sound of digging etc. would be a nuisance.
This is what you get when you only drop 100k on a house. You will almost certainly be sharing at least one wall and if you have a garden, about 10 other properties will be able to look right into the garden.Sig line can't be a novel

We have pretty good neighbours. I say hi to them and vice versa and we have nothing to do with each other. One round the back occasionally has parties but never ridiculously loud and always on party appropriate days e.g. Saturday or holidays, so I just neck some beers and sleep on the couch at the front of the house.
