With film shoots rolling out left, right and centre in Mumbai, involving sometimes up to 300 people at one time, taking extra preventive measures to reduce chances of infection or spreading COVID-19 is of utmost importance. One right decision may save many lives. Now, due to the preventive steps taken at Akshay Kumar's 'Ram Setu' sets by the superstar's Cape Good Films and Vikram Malhotra's Abundantia Entertainment's, the possibility of further spread of coronavirus was contained before it was too late. Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha are also a part of the film. Reportedly, a crew of 100 people were supposed to join the film set on April 5 in Mumbai's Madh Island but due to the efforts of the duo to ensure that the set is COVID free, tests were scheduled in advance and out of the 100, 45 tested positive. The shoot now stands cancelled as Akshay Kumar himself tested COVID-19 positive. A source says, 'It is unlikely that the shoot will resume before 13/14 days at least.'
