Sharing his experience, Arjun Tendulkar said, “It came out of my hand pretty well. It was a good session today in the heat. And, I feel playing in the heat is the best way to get acclimatised.”

Rahul Chahar also shared his experience of Chennai heat. “I bowled 4 overs, but it feels like I bowled 10-15. But fielding, and just staying on the ground was important so that the body gets used to the conditions,” he said.

“It was an important session for us. And it’s important when we play in this heat to keep yourself hydrated. Keep drinking water, hydralite during match too. I’m quite satisfied with today’s session,” Chahar added.

Saurabh Tiwary also got candid with MI TV.

“We had an open net session today. The touch is coming back in the batting. It’s quite hot here. But it’s good that we’re practising in the afternoon. Because whenever we play matches in the evening. It will seem a lot easier,” he opined.
