Let your mind soar with paramotoring at Kondapochamma Sagar

Abhay Singh Rathore and Vedika Singh Rathore, certified paramotor pilots, started Wingmasters in Jaipur almost four years ago to make people explore the beauty of the places far from the crowds and far above the ground. The duo then started in Hyderabad in November last year. Although it was in the midst of the first wave of the pandemic, they say the residents’ reaction could have been out of faith.

While for Vedika it was a distress from her nine-to-five job that made her a paramotor pilot, it was a long cherished dream for Abhay. “It’s always nice to fly and look down on the world we live in,” Vedika shares, pointing out that night is the best time to fly. Through his company, Abhay also trains others in paragliding.

For the crew of four members at Wingmasters, safety is the highest priority. ‘We have four motorcycle paragliders on which one can comfortably fly up to 6,000 feet. The equipment we use is of the highest quality. We ensure that the client’s paramotoring experience is not only enjoyable, but also completely safe, ”she adds.

Paramotoring is a parachute with an engine-based trike or a motorized version of paragliding. It is claimed that it started as a method used by the air force during the wars. Wingmasters have different packages that vary depending on the time used by paramotoring. It starts from five minutes and can be extended to 25 minutes. And this wonderful experience comes at prices of R 2,500. ‘To fly, we do not have a minimum weight limit, while the maximum is 100 kg. It can depend more on the wind speed and direction, ”concludes Vedika.
