Mumbai: Actor Govinda tested positive for coronavirus and is currently under house quarantine. The actor said he is under competent medical guidance.
He tested positive on Sunday morning and urged everyone who had recently come in contact with him to get tested.
The actor spoke to IANS about his health and said: ‘I tested myself and took all the necessary precautions to get the coronavirus away. However, I tested positive for mild symptoms today. All the others at home tested negative. Sunita (wife) has just recovered Covid-19 a few weeks back. ‘
The actor added: ‘I am under quarantine at home and under competent medical guidance. I urge everyone to please follow all the necessary precautions and please. Take care.
Earlier Sunday, actor Akshay Kumar also updated his fans that he tested positive for the virus.
