From last year but still incredibly intense, especially that part when the bullets ricochet off of the shield. The soldier reloads that lmg faster than in some fps games lol.

There's a Colombian series they made about Escobar called El patrón del mal and it has something like 80 episodes. It's way better and more realistic than narcos but it's all in Spanish. If you don't mind watching something in Spanish and the topic interests you I'd highly recommend it over Narcos. The lead actor in Narcos is a Brazilian who doesn't even do the paisa accent right.

Already watched it. Great series. After watching it I couldn't finish the American Narcos series. They so butchered Pablo's character. They made him this dark, brooding person with of course, a terrible accent. The real Pablo was a charismatic guy, who was likeable and liked to party, which is why he had such a loyal following. Not this morose buzzkill, always being filmed is some shadow like the grim reaper.
Another series that I recommend highly from Columbia if you haven't seen it is Surviving Escobar- Alias JJ. It's right up there was Patron De Mal[This Account Is Minority Owned]

It would be like watching a documentary on the American civil war and hearing Australian accents everywhere. I guess most of the audience who watched Narcos doesn't speak Spanish so it was no big deal to them.
Haven't seen that one. Going to have to check it out, it sounds promising. It's Colombia btw not Columbia (that's in the USA). Kinda irks me cuz I live in Colombia and it's annoying when people spell it wrong.
And yeah Escobar was loved by a lot of people because he actually gave back to the community and he was very charismatic. Pretty insane how much power he had during the height of his reign. There's some murals in the city here to honour him and I think there's actually one neighbourhood named after him.
