Toyota Innova Crysta is one of those vehicles that needs no introduction. It is one of theĀ most popular premium MPV sold in India. It has been present in the market for over a decade and the popularity does not seem to decrease even by a bit. Over the years, Innova did become a expensive but, people still love for its reliability and comparatively low cost of maintenance. Last year Toyota launched the facelifted version of Innova Crysta with cosmetic changes. Now Toyota has started delivery of the 2021 model of the Innova Crysta and here we have a video of one such delivery.
The video has been uploaded by TUSKER VLOGS with Sharun Zeckeriah on his YouTube channel. The vlogger does not show anything about the Innova Crysta in his video. It is more of a video where his cousin to whom this brand new Innova Crysta belongs is seen taking the delivery. He takes a few shots of Innova Crysta being parkedĀ in the dealership. The video shows his cousin’s family doing all the paperwork before driving the car out from the showroom.
The 2021 Innova Crysta is slightly different or updated from the older version. The one seen in the video is a top-end Z model Innova Crysta which means it comes with all the bells and whistles that are available with the all-new Crysta. The 2021 version of the MPV gets a redesigned front grille that is bigger in comparison to the pre-facelift model. The grille gets a gloss black finish as well. The design of the headlamps remains the same as before but, they now get LED DRLs, projector headlamps and so on.
Coming down to the bumper, it has also been redesigned. it now looks a lot more muscular and has triangle shaped turn indicators on them. There are black plastic surrounds around the turn indicators and the LED fog lamps are placed on the lower part of the bumper. Moving to the side profile, the overall design of the car remains the same. The only noticeable change here are the new set of 16 inch diamond cut dual tone alloy wheels. Apart from these changes, Innova Crysta looks the same as pre-facelift model.
On the inside, the basic layout of the cabin remains the same. Toyota has made some updates to keep Innova Crysta relevant in the market. The Innova Crysta now comes with a 9 inch touchscreen infotainment screen that now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Toyota is also offering features like wireless charging and air purifier as an accessory with the 2021 Innova Crysta.
Toyota Innova Crysta is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The Innova Crysta petrol version is powered by a 2.7 litre engine that generates 166 bhp and 245 Nm of torque. The diesel engine in Crysta is powered by a 2.4 litre unit that generates 150 Bhp and 343 Nm of peak torque. Both petrol and diesel engine options in the Innova Crysta are available with manual and automatic gearbox options. Price for the Innova Crysta now starts at Rs 16.26 lakh, ex-showroom and go up to Rs 24.33 lakh, ex-showroom.
