Godzilla always needed help to take on King Ghidorah.
However, MechaGodzilla always managed to do more damage to Godzilla.
King Ghidorah has a habit of retreating when the fight gets too tough. MechaGodzilla is a robot and will continue to fight until it can no longer function. With the mount of firepower MechaGodzilla generally has, I think King Gihdorah would run off.
King Ghidorah won't be able to recruit any allies to fight either, maybe Gigan.
I think MechaGodzilla takes it.^^^()()GERMANIC CREW()()^^^

We should've gotten another 30 minutes of Mechagodzilla piloted by Ghidora laying waste to sh!t in GvK. Make it a straight up horror movie for the final stretch of film.
As for these two fighting, I would split them 50/50. I don't think anyone has given Godzilla more trouble than these two, short of Destoroyah. Ghidora in the Monsterverse carries a damn Cat 6 Hurricane around with him. Smith above me has a great breakdown / assessment above.
