
New Delhi: Veteran Bollywood actor Shashikala Om Prakash Saigal, better known by her first name, breathed her last at her residence on Sunday at the age of 88.
The cause of the ‘Shart’ actor’s demise is not yet known and an official statement from her family members is awaited. Popular Bollywood screenwriter Kiran Kotrial who is known for writing scripts of television shows like Big Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi, broke the news of the demise of the actor through a Facebook post.
He posted throwback pictures of the departed soul and wrote, “Rest in peace Shashikala” along with it.
