Hyderabad: A delegation of Telangana Gulf activists will visit Kerala to study the policies adopted by the Kerala government for the well-being of Gulf workers.
Many of Telangana have migrated to different countries around the world, especially to the Gulf countries. The general secretary asked the officials a few weeks ago to give their suggestions for solving the problems these NRIs are facing.
A special team has visited Kerala to study the policies adopted by the Kerala government in this regard and based on the report of the team, the government will put in place measures for the well-being of the Gulf workers.
In view of the above, the rights activists of the Gulf migrants of Telangana are also likely to visit Kerala to understand the best practices and the Gulf migration management system in Kerala. The team wants to develop a study report based on the visit and submit a report on behalf of civil society to the government of Telangana.
