Raipur: Bodies of 17 of the 18 Javanese missing after a meeting with Naxals in Chhattisgarh were recovered from the skirmish, police said Sunday.
Police said the number of security personnel killed during the encounter had risen to 22.
Eighteen Javanese were missing after five security personnel were killed and 30 others injured in the encounter with Naxals in a forest along the border between the districts of Bijapur and Sukma in Chhattisgarh on Saturday, police said.
