CHANDIGARH:
Gurugram and
Panchkula dominated the overall tally as Haryana on Sunday reported 1,904 new Covid-19 cases and seven deaths during the day.
Total 1,110 persons recovered and 34,304 persons got the
vaccine jabs during the day.
For the first time, number of districts reporting 100 plus cases has exceeded the number of districts reporting less than 10 cases. Total seven districts have reported more than 100 to 555 cases while six districts have reported less than 10 cases.
With this, the overall tally of the state has gone to 29,81,33 cases, 3,191 deaths, 28,23,68 recoveries and 12,574 active cases. The active cases include 19 critical patients who are on oxygen support as well as ventilator support in various hospitals across the state.
Of the total 34,304 vaccinations, as many as 33,589 were given the first dose while 715 were given the second dose. This took the overall vaccination of the state to 1868130.
Notably, Gurugram continues to top the daily tally with 555 new cases. Here overall tally has gone to 64,967 cases, 367 deaths and 2,971 active cases. While Panchkula topped the State Capital Region (SCR) with 200 new cases. Here tally has gone to 13653 cases, 154 deaths and 1092 active cases.
Rest five districts which reported 100 or more cases include Faridabad with 151 cases , Karnal 185 cases , Panipat 142 cases , Kurukshetra 135 cases and Ambala with 114 cases. The district with less than 10 cases include Rewari, Nuh, Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Kaithal and Mahendergarh.
Rest Yamunanagar reported 98 cases , ,Sonepat 72, Rohtak 51, Hisar 45, Jhajjar 38,Jind 34,Sirsa 31, Bhiwani 16 and Palwal 12 .
Three deaths reported from Kaithal while one death each was reported from Sonipat, Ambala, Kurukshetra and Yamunanagar districts respectively. As many as as
Haryana’s positivity rate was recorded at 4.70% recovery rate dipped to 94.71 % and Fatality Rate was recorded as 1.07%.
