Eight new foodgrains wearhouses to be set up in Nashik

Nashik, Apr 3 (UNI) The administration gave approval for the construction of eight new wearhouses in the district, said Nashik district Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal on Saturday.
In order to store more food and grains in the district, an administrative approval was given by the district collector for the construction of government warehouses in Nashik under NABARD’s Rural Infrastructure Development Fund, Mr Bhujbal said in an official press release said here.
The godowns will come up at Pimpalgaon-Baswant, Niphad, Angangaon, Mauje Rajurbahula and Mauje Chandanpuri.
With the sanction of these godowns in Nashik, the storage capacity of foodgrains in the district will increase further, the release added.
