All about TS ICET 2021

Hyderabad: The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is one of the most popular teaching courses among students at postgraduate level. Regardless of their undergraduate studies, most students choose MBAs with specialization. One of the main reasons why the course is constantly in demand is that most MNCs hire MBA graduates who offer attractive packages.

To undertake the MBA program in state colleges, individuals must pass the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) 2021. Kakatiya University, Warangal, which organizes the test, has issued a detailed schedule.

The TS ICET, a computer-based test, for admission to both MBA and MCA courses, will be conducted on 19 and 20 August. The admission test is held in two sessions, namely 10:00 to 12:30 and 14:30 to 17:00 on day one, and the next day 10:00 to 12:30. A provisional key is released on 27 August and the last date to lodge an objection, if any, on the key is 31 August. The result of the admission test together with the final key will be announced on 17 September.

The admission test is held at 14 local online testing centers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The qualification mark for the admission test is 25 percent and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC / ST candidates.

Candidates who want to appear for the MBA admission test must have a bachelor’s degree (BA / B.Com / B.Sc / BBA / BBM / BCA / BE / B. Tech / B. Pharmacy / any 3 or 4-year degree except Oriental languages)). Applicants must have obtained at least 50 percent marks (45 percent in the case of SC and ST categories) in the qualifying exams. The admission test for the MCA course requires a recognized bachelor’s degree of at least three years, with at least 50 percentage points (45 percent in the case of ST and ST categories) in the qualifying examinations with mathematics at the 10 + 2 level or during the graduation ceremony. Candidates who appear for the final year examination can also apply for the TS ICET 2021.

Online registration starts on April 7 and ends on June 15. The application fee is Rs 450 for SC / ST and other candidates, and R 650 for others. The applications can be submitted until 30 June and 15 July at a late amount of Rs 250 and Rs 500. At a late amount of Rs, 000 the applications will be accepted until 11 August.

Up to 58,392 candidates registered for the TS ICET 2020, of which 45,975 appeared and 41,506 qualified. A total of 267 colleges offered MBA courses with 32,337 seats and 35 colleges offered MCA courses with 2,491 seats in the state for the academic year 2020-21, TS ICET 2021 convener, prof. K Raji Reddy, said.
