We all know that Kamal Haasan has established the party named Makkal Needhi Maiam in Tamil Nadu. The actor-turned-politician is prepping up for the upcoming assembly elections and was campaigning intensely for the same. He recently visited Coimbatore south from where he is contesting in the elections and asked the people living there to cast their valuable votes to him.

The actor has recently undergone surgery for his leg and was unable to walk without the help of a stick. Though the doctors suggested him to take rest, he insisted to take part in the campaigning and took the help of the stick to walk on the streets of flower market.
 
His daughter akshara haasan also accompanied him. During the campaigning, his leg was injured badly and he was unable to walk. Immediately doctors suggested Kamal to take rest, but with the help of his daughter, he completed the campaign somehow.
 
He requested the people in his constituency to vote for the ‘Torch light’ symbol and make him win in the elections. On friday, kamal haasan along with Sarathkumar campaigned on the streets of Theppakulam and telugu streets. For the unversed, actor Sarathkumar is the chief of All india Samathuva Makkal Katchi.
