Tollywood: ‘False’ allegations against BJP, ‘apolitical’ procession in Tolipara

#Kolkata: BJP leaders have repeatedly made controversial remarks alleging “mafia rule is going on in Tollywood”. This time the artists and artisans of the studio neighborhood took to the streets in protest. They held a huge procession in Taliganj area on Sunday. Protesters claim it is a completely ‘apolitical’ procession. They allege that the apolitical industry is being deliberately slandered. On this day, artists and technicians came together on a large scale. Tens of thousands of people gathered at the protest rally called by the Federation of Cine Technicians and Workers of Eastern India.
Allegedly, the front line leaders of BJP are spreading propaganda that mafia rule is going on in Tolipara. The protesters’ allegations are mainly against leaders like Rudranil Ghosh, Babul Supriya and Agnimitra Pal. They are repeatedly firing cannons of dictatorship by targeting their allegations, ugly beliefs and Swarup beliefs through various public meetings and news. Says ‘Mafia rule is going on in Tollywood’. Therefore, it is claimed by the federation that he has taken to the streets in his protest irrespective of party affiliation. In the procession, the crowd of people involved in various activities, starting from the studio star, was eye-catching.
Incidentally, BJP Union Minister Babul Supriya has become a candidate in the Taliganj constituency. On the contrary, there is the ugly belief of the grassroots. On the other hand, Devdut Ghosh is the candidate of the Left on behalf of the United Front. After joining BJP, actor Rudranil Ghosh commented on ‘Swajanposhan’, ‘Toshan’ and ‘Mafia rule is going on in Tollywood’. Since then, there have been regular attacks on Tolipara by BJP leaders focusing on various issues. After that a part of Tolipara became vocal in protest.
