Quarantine centers are likely to make a turn in Telangana

Hyderabad: With the increase in the daily score of coronavirus cases, the Telangana government is considering the option of setting up quarantine centers.

Health Minister Etela Rajender held a meeting with Health Secretary Ramesh Reddy and other senior officials to discuss the growing number of people covid-19 affairs in the state.

The minister addressed the media, saying that the government was never in the back seat to covid-19 incidents. He has taken standard preventative measures to deal with the pandemic. That is why the positive cases are fewer compared to other states, he added.

He appealed to the people to come forward to take the vaccine, saying that only older people experience some mild side effects after having the jab. Other people have not seen any such side effects, he said.

The Minister of Health said that the state government is considering an option to set up quarantine centers again due to the increase in the country Covid incidents.

Meanwhile, Sweta Mohanty, district collector of Hyderabad, inspected the government’s Ayurveda Hospital and reviewed the preparations to set it up as a quarantine center.
