PS5 Restock Update for Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, Walmart and More
Sony's PlayStation 5 remains one of the most sought after consoles available right now and many people ae still having trouble finding one. Major retailers like Target, Amazon and Best Buy have frequently seen stock sell out, causing some frustration for would-be customers.
Though released as far back as November 12, 2020, supplies of the PS5 have been quickly snapped up whenever they become available. If you're hoping to get a console as a special Easter treat, here's a breakdown of the PS5 stock situation from Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and more.
Amazon PS5 Restock
Amazon had no supply of the PlayStation 5 on Sunday morning. Visitors to the online retail giant were left with the simple message "We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock."

Best Buy PS5 Restock
Both versions of the PlayStation 5 were sold out at Best Buy's website on Sunday morning. While a restock was reportedly expected on Friday, consumers were left disappointed when it failed to materialize.
Best Buy had previously had availability of PS5s every Friday for the past six weeks. But this Easter at least, gamers are out of luck.

Costco PS5 Restock
The PS5 was sold out at Costco at the time of writing. The retailer was offering the console as part of a bundle and had units on Tuesday for a limited period of time.

GameStop PS5 Restock
GameStop has proven a good place for seekers of the PlayStation 5, with frequent restocks. The retailer had a supply briefly on Friday morning and was offering bundles with Spider-Man Ultimate Edition, Call of Duty and Avengers games. However, the consoles subsequently sold out and no more units have yet become available.
Twitter accounts dedicated to gaming such as @Wario64 and @GYXdeals provide useful updates on restocks, though, and are worth a look for would-be purchasers.

Newegg PS5 Restock
Newegg bucked the general trend on Sunday and had the PlayStation 5 for sale at the time of writing for $1,199.99 a piece. However, its other PS5 bundles were all out of stock. The digital edition was out of stock, however, except as part of bundle that also ran to $1,999.99.
The bundle included DualSense Controller and HD camera.

PS Direct PS5 Restock
Both versions of the PS5 were out of stock on Sunday morning at Sony's official store. PS Direct last restocked on March 23 but there has been no movement there since.
Those hoping to purchase a PS5 via this route will need a PSN account, however, and quantities are limited to one per address.
Twitter user @Wario64 informed his followers about PS Direct's restock last Tuesday and may be worth checking out for future updates.

Target PS5 Restock
Both versions of the PlayStation was still sold out at Target on Sunday morning, just as they were on Saturday. Target did have a restock on Wednesday but there's been no further indication of when new units will arrive.
Those hoping to buy a PS5 from Target will have to do order online and collect their console through pick-up or drive-up collection. Supplies are also limited to one per person when in stock.

Walmart PS5 Restock
And it's a similar picture over at Walmart where both versions of the PS5 were out of stock on Sunday morning. There is reportedly some hope of a restock in the near future but as of now gamers will be disappointed.
Walmart's last restock was on March 18.
