Yes, Govinda has tested positive for coronavirus. On behalf of Mr.Govind Ahuja, his Spokesperson shares "Despite utmost precautions, unfortunately, Mr.Govinda Ahuja has tested positive for Covid 19. He has mild symptoms and is home Quarantine." Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja has requested all those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. For the unversed, Govinda's wife Sunita recently recovered for COVID-19. In an interview with Indian Express, she shared Govinda's health update. She said that Govinda's report came positive but he is doing fine, has very mild symptoms, and has quarantined at home. She also mentioned that they are constantly in touch with the doctor who is guiding them and looking after Govinda's symptoms. The actor and his family live in Juhu, Mumbai. Sunita Ahuja adds, "After him testing positive, we all got ourselves tested and everybody at home has tested negative, including the staff." Earlier today, Akshay Kumar also announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19. Taking to his Instagram handle Akshay Kumar shared, " I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following, the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I am under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to go get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon!"
