DMX's Lawyer Reveals His Current Condition, Confirms Rapper Was on Life Support
We have an update after it was reported that DMX was in “grave condition” after suffering a heart attack.
The 50-year-old rapper’s lawyer Murray Richman shared a new statement on Saturday (April 3) that DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, confirming that he was on life support, but has been taken off it and is currently “breathing on his own.”
“He is in the hospital as a result of a heart attack,” Murray shared in a Zoom message to PIX 11 News. “He has been taken off life support system and is breathing on his own, but we are concerned.”
Earlier in the day, it was reported that DMX was rushed to a hospital in White Plains, New York after suffering a heart attack. It has been reported that the heart attack happened because of a drug overdose, but DMX‘s lawyer did not address those reports.
After the news about DMX was reported, many celebs asked for prayers and support for the rapper.
