Telangana: Intermediate practical exams postponed, to be held after board exams
Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has decided to postpone practical examinations. Practical exams will now be conducted after the theory exams I.e from May 29, 2021 to June 7, 2021.

HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) on Saturday announced the postponement of intermediate practical examinations.
The board has decided to postpone the exams in the wake of Covid-19. The exams will now be conducted after the theory examination i.e from May 29, 2021, to June 7, 2021.
“Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the practical examinations for general and vocational courses scheduled to be held from April 7 to April 20 have been postponed and will be conducted after the theory examinations,” said Syed Omer Jaleel, commissioner and secretary, TSBIE vide a release.
Further details about the practical examinations — the issue of hall tickets, batches, and timetable will be informed in due course, he added.
On March 30, the board had announced that Ethics and Human Values and Environmental Education examinations will be conducted as ‘assignment work from home’ instead of physical examinations. Students were asked to send assignments in pdf format to the principal of the junior college concerned through the post, mail, or physically drop it at the college between April 1 and April 20.
The intermediate public examinations (theory exams) will be held between May 1 and May 20 for inter first and second-year students.
Every year, exams are conducted in March. However, due to the pandemic exams have been postponed by about two months.
