Do I lift as much when cutting?

I’ve been searching the internet and haven’t found much help on this topic. When I am cutting do I want to try and lift just as much or should I aim for a lower weight and higher reps?

No, keep the weight up. Try to do what you were doing before. If something has to slip, it's better if it's volume rather than weight.
