Tecno Spark 7 to launch in India on April 9

Tecno has announced the launch of a new smartphone in India. Tecno Spark 7 will launch in India on April 9. The smartphone has been teased on Amazon India revealing its design.

Tecno Spark 7 is seen with a notched display, and a rear fingerprint sensor. The smartphone comes in a bright blue colour with a patterned rear design. Its volume rocker and power button are placed on the right side of the phone. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port at the bottom. The Amazon India teaser page also confirms a 6,000mAh battery on the Tecno Spark 7. The smartphone will feature a triple camera setup at the rear.

Tecno hasn’t revealed any other details about the phone but according to a report by GSMArena, it will come in two more colour options of green and black. The smartphone is said to come with video features such as time-lapse videos, bokeh video, and slo-mo video recording.

Tecno Spark 7 will be the successor to the Spark 6 launched last year in September. Tecno Spark 6 comes with a 6.8-inch HD+ display. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G70 processor paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It packs a 5,000mAh battery, and runs Android 10 out-of-the-box.

In the photography department, Tecno Spark 6 features a 16-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera with flash. The phone has a rear fingerprint sensor, and a punch-hole display. It comes in four colour options of orange, black, blue and purple.
