AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on Friday clarified that there were no changes to the schedule of board exams for Classes X and XII.
The statement comes in the wake of a social media message which claimed that the dates had been changed.
“The social media message doing the rounds is with malicious intent. It wrongly states that the dates of the board exams have been changed. There is no such decision and the board wishes to clarify that the exam dates remain the same,” a circular from the board said.
The message was fake and there was no basis to it, said a source in the board.
The Class X and XII board exams will be held from May 10 to May 25 for the academic year 2020-21, the GSHSEB had announced earlier.
