I am buying a used GPU via reddit sub r/IndianGaming. Kindly share Do's and Don'ts I should follow to minimize my chances of being scammed.

Till now the seller has sent me pictures of the GPU and its Invoice. He bought it from Amazon last July and orignal seller was Vedant Computers. I have asked the seller to share the video of the GPU working in the system, he is supposed to reply in next 10 minutes.

Just did. He sent me the video of GPU in cabinet and fans running thats all.

Should I ask him to put it here? Will this work? Should I pay him in one go or 50/50 or 60/40?

Sorry for questions as this is my 1st time buying a used item, leave alone a PC component.

Regardless of where you purchase please see if you're able to inspect it physically. There are many scams out there so you might want to be a bit careful

Well from what I know, if the GPU was undervolted then its not a bad thing except for some wear and tear. But I don't expect our desi miners to be that well informed about underclocking and fan curves.
