Another option is to go to the nearest ATM and request a chequebook there. Following receipt of your request, the bank will mail a new chequebook to your mailing address on file.

It is also possible to visit a bank branch. Simply fill out the HDFC cheque book request form and hand it in at the counter. A new chequebook will be sent to your registered address within a few days.
Note: Every four months, you will receive 25 free Cheques leaves. If you go over the limit, you'll be charged Rs 50 per 25 leaves. The new cheque book will be sent to the address you provided to the bank. Your chequebook will be delivered within 3 working days to an Indian mailing address.
