‘Kadwa Sach’ fame Bollywood actor-director Tariq Shah passes away

Actor Shoma Anand’s husband Tariq Shah expired on Saturday.

Veteran actor and director Tariq Shah passed away on Saturday in Mumbai. He was married to Shoma Anand, a TV and film actor. Many reports state that he had been suffering from kidney ailments for some time now.

He got married to actress Shoma Anand in the year 1987 and has a daughter named Sarah.

His most popular work is the yesteryear TV serial Kadwa Sach that aired in 1980. The cast of this show included A.K. Hangal, Shoma Anand, Anu Dhawan and Satish Kaul. He also directed the Reena Roy and Vinod Khanna starrer Janam Kundli in 1955. The show also had Jeetendra and Anupam Kher.
Shah’s last rites were performed on Saturday, April 3rd, evening.
