Thread: The reason "American Pie Reunion" felt weird

It's taken me like 9 years to work it out but I finally know why American Pie Reunion felt so weird.

The reason is the ages of the stars mean the film doesn't make sense.

So American Pie 1 was in 1999 right. And most of the cast was well older than the 17-18 age they were playing in that movie. To give one example, Alyson Hannigan was 26 years old, playing a girl basically a decade younger.

See when reunion came out these characters were supposed to be 10 years out of high school, so like late 20s. But in the film they behave like middle aged losers who barely have any life left in them. Well, Hannigan in this movie was basically a 40 year old!

So yeah you had a weird scenario where these middle aged dudes were playing middle aged dudes at a high school reunion that they should be 28

The movie was just weird.
