I’m excited to check out the new stuff in Hitman 3, which includes the “Greed” expansion and an Easter egg hunt in Berlin. I’ve seen other players say cool things about them, and I’m super intrigued. Hitman 3 has had me mostly going back to Hitman 2, but it’s a good reminder that there’s lots and lots of Hitman I haven’t played yet.

Last weekend I finished the ten runs required to finish the story mode in Hades. Fantastic game, although in retrospect feels like the story was stretched a little thin to justify the magic number. Anyways, glad I bought it. Don’t know if I’ll go back and play more runs when there’s other games on the horizon or in the backlog.
Afterwards I got back into The Outer Worlds. Unlocked all of the companions, so that’s cool. Gameplay is still solid, story is mediocre at best. Related to my comments about Monster Hunter when it comes to “intuitive design,” who the fuck at Obsidian thought that it was a good idea to switch the crouch and jump buttons?! Anyways, still enjoying it from a purely mechanical perspective, although I’ve hit a ceiling in terms of min-maxing. Guess I should have realized I wouldn’t have been OP forever.
I have a buddy who wants me to pick up Monster Hunter Rise, but based on the responses to the article earlier in the week; fuck that noise. Bought Space Marine Adventures and the expansions earlier in the week before they went MIA, so I’ve got some Space Hulk-lite adventures to try out. It’s already shaping up to be an expensive month between new game releases anyways (Warhammer Quest: Cursed City, New Pokemon Snap)... and I might have fallen down a hole on Kickstarter (Gloomier: A Night at Hemlock Hall, Worship, Lasting Tales). Plus I just got the rulebooks for A Billion Suns, Zona Alfa, Ravenfeast, and Perilous Tales, so I have plenty of other things to keep me occupied.
