Been walking 2-3 miles outside and its giving me good results but it doesn’t really get my heart rate up and it takes a while... (15 mins per mile)
Walking on a treadmill for 10 mins gets my heart rate up though and I can adjust the incline...
Has anyone ever done both and tracked their results? (Gotten better or worse)
I already do interval sprints but I want to add some low intensity stuff

Walking on a treadmill vs outside for burning calories?
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

Walking on land will always be superior because you actually propel yourself.
Walking on land is probably more similar to walking a small incline on a treadmill.
The other benefit of walking/running outside is the change of scenery in effect visually rewards your brain.
The act of moving towards something and in effect taking a closer look makes you wanna go to the next thing and so on (as far as your brain is concerned).
The last one can of course be offset by hot sloots walking around in yoga pants, so depends...The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.
That's why grandma's apple pie rocks and yours sucks.

I knew a guy who had his treadmill outside on his front lawn connected to a lengthy extension cord. He said he was too scared of walking in public but still wanted some sunshine.

It doesn't really matter, but I prefer outside for the weather and change of pace...treadmill on incline is real nice though. I think a good mix of both is fine. Walk a bit faster outside or even do a light jog if you need to increase the difficulty, but cannot simulate the elevation/incline. If you are going to the gym anyway the stair master is actually pretty legit if you are looking for a good cardio workout.
