Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given relief to users who are unable to do regular verification and stamping of portable weights, measurement, and weighing machines. CM Gehlot has approved an exemption of late or penalty charges by 31 December 2021 to these users for verification of portable weights, measurements, and weighing machines.
Due to late fees, many users were unable to get their weights, measures, and weighing machines verified and stamped. In such a situation, poor and small-middle class businessmen, fair price shopkeepers, etc., had requested to relax this fee.
Now, with the approval of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, users will get relief and they will be able to get their weights, measurements, and weighing machines verified without any late fee. By which consumers' interests can be protected by ensuring correct measurement and weighing.
