Meanwhile, in neighbouring Sangli, 284 fresh Covid-19 patients and four deaths were reported today, taking the district's tally of such cases to 51,934 and the toll to 1,804, respectively.
On the other hand, 63 more patients were discharged during the day across the district, taking the overall count of recoveries to 47,869.
There are now 2,261 active cases in the district, an official report said.
