Tejas Express operations between Mumbai-Ahmedabad suspended for one month due to COVID-19

The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has suspended the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Tejas Express services an upsurge in COVID-19 cases.

The suspension will remain for a period of one month.

"Keeping in view the rising COVID-19 cases and in the larger public interest, it has been decided to suspend the services of train no 82902/82901 Ahmedabad Mumbai Central Ahmedabad Tejas Express wef 02.04.21 for a period of one month"

The IRCTC said that it is committed in its endeavour to ensure the highest standard of the safe and comfortable journey of rail passengers.


The capacity of this train is 312 seats in Chair Car and 56 seats in Executive Chair Car.
