Delta just announced they will start selling all seats on their flights starting May 1. Scott Mayerowitz, Senior Editorial Director at The Points Guy somments: “This move shows that travel is coming back is full force and that most flyers are willing to purchase a ticket on a packed jet. So many of us have been stuck at home for the last year and are eager to get back into the sky. And as vaccines are delivered at a quickening pace, we are all booking future trips. Delta sees this demand and realizes that it no longer makes logical business sense to leave a third of its seats empty. People want to fly and airlines are eager to take their money. While it will still be many months until business travel comes back, it is clear that there is tons of demand from vacationers."
