Hyderabad: A Covid positive girl was prevented from entering her village in Indravali Mandal of Adilabad. But due to the timely intervention of the police, she was allowed to enter the town.
According to the report, the villages objected to the girl’s entry for fear of spreading the virus.
After the police intervention, the girl’s family members made separate arrangements within her family field outside the town to prevent the virus from spreading, among other things.
The girl is studying at a Junior High School. After she tested positive, she was sent home. There is a fear of spreading viruses in the district after the latest increase in cases. The villagers demanded that the girl come only after she had fully recovered from Corona.
The Union MoS for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy condemned the incident.
Reddy instructed the Director-General of Police and SP of Adilabad to act swiftly in this matter.
The SP of Adilabad said that the issue has been resolved and that the girl is getting stronger in her home.
According to reports, not only the villagers but even relatives of the girl insisted on barring her from entering. However, the police spoke to the villagers and solved the case.
