Fort Lauderdale Airport Bomb Threat Update as Entrances Remain Closed
Police have closed down access to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Broward County, Florida as a result of a possible bomb threat on Thursday morning.
All entrances to the airport have been shut due to a disruption at Terminals 2 and 3, according to Florida's WSVN. Officials have informed people on the scene that there is a "bomb threat or scare."

An investigation is currently being conducted at Terminals 2 and 3 amid reports that a suspicious package was found at the airport, though officials are offering limited information at this time. The package was discovered around 2am, according to NBC Miami.
Travelers planning to use Fort Lauderdale Airport are being advised to check with their airlines. The airport issued a travel advisory via Twitter early on Thursday morning saying that disruptions to airport operations "may be possible."
