Stocks to watch on April 1st: On Thursday, both Sensex and Nifty reported a bullish trend in the stock market after bearish reports in the last session of the market. The Sensex is trading above 49,800 levels and nifty trading above 14,750 levels in the stock market. The Sensex gained 343.52 points with a 0.67% increase and reached 49,842.45 levels. While the nifty gained 92.30 points with a 0.65% increase and reached 14,784.60 levels.

On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India on Thursday, April 1st reached 1,21,49,335 with almost 1,62,468 deaths.

Piramal Enterprises Limited: On Wednesday, Piramal Pharma Solutions (PPS), which is a wholly-owned subsidiary entered into an agreement for acquiring 100% stakes in Hemmo Pharmaceuticals Pvt Limited for Rs. 775 crores.

However, the shares of Piramal Enterprises Limited on Thursday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 29.85 points with a 1.72% increase and reached 1,783.35 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 31.95 points with a 1.82% increase and reached 1,783.95 INR.

Public Sector Banks Limited: The central government will infuse almost Rs. 14,500 crores into four banks that include the Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Bank of India, and UCO Bank.
