Baghpat, Apr 1 (UNI) A woman strangled her two children to death owing to family disturbances in the Chhaprauli town here on Thursday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Alok Kumar said that Gulab Qureshi, a garment trader who resides in the Kureshiyan mohalla of the Chaprauli town used to have frequent disputes with his wife Anjum. The couple had a fight on Thursday morning too. Angry with his wife, Gulab left house to sell garments in Faridabad.
After her husband left, Anjum strangled daughter Anshika (4) and son Uber (7), which led to their deaths.
Police have arrested the woman and sent the two bodies for post-mortem. Further probe is underway.
