Whats going on fellas?
Pretty much it is as the title states. Was going to drive cross country in a few weeks and my tires now have tons of mileage on them. Was looking to completely replace the entire set.
My main question is how would I go about doing this in regards to getting the best deal? Should I go with one of the national shops or look for a local shop?
thanks in advance fellas

Get something in the medium price range. Don't cheap out or buy the most expensive tires.
Go to a Honda dealership and ask them if they can mount and balance and do something called "roadforced". Not many shops have this machine. It's about $70 to roadforce all four tires.
Many shop just mount and balance, and that's not enough. We're not equals until you respect the words of God.

Check out reviews on TireRack.
Find the tire you want at the best price you can find.
Order the tires yourself and have a shop put them on.
From experience, typically going to a tire shop severely narrows your options as they will try to sell you on the tires they keep in stock/can get from their distributor, which usually is more expensive or a sh*ttier tire.“When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you'll be successful.”

If you are looking to get the best deal, get your tire size and just call a number of shops in your area and ask about any promotions they have going on. Also be sure to ask about any additional costs for mount / balance / old tire disposal / taxes / etc.
If you don’t even know how to go about getting tires, then you won’t be able to notice the difference between an expensive vs. cheap tires. Just get cheap ones that claim long tread life.
