On Wednesday, he hosted ‘AskSRK’ session for fans where they asked him questions about his personal life, work-life, and next release. SRK gave witty responses, dipped in his signature sense of humour.

One of the fans asked him, “@iamsrk why there is no bio on your Twitter account? #AskSRK” To which, Shah Rukh replied, “It’s still being compiled….so much of life has happened to me my friend, it’s difficult to restrict it in a bio.”

One of the fans asked him about his upcoming movie release and wrote, “#AskSRK any hint or a glimpse of your next movie, we are so desperate!”To which, he replied, “Arre so many films waiting to release in the cans….our turn will come after them don’t worry!” When another fan asked him the same question, SRK replied, “Bhai bana raha hoon…bana raha hoon!” The ‘Baazigar’ actor turned chucklesome when one more fan tweeted to ask him about the announcement of his next flick. King Khan replied, “Announcements are for airports and railway stations my friend….movies ki hawa toh khud ban jaati hai.”

Earlier, in February, Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh had confirmed that Shah Rukh’s highly-anticipated film ‘Pathan’ has been slated for a 2022 release instead of the earlier plans to release it in 2021. WANTED TO DO SOMETHING FOR FELLOW DREAMERS, SAYS RANVEER SINGH

Published

on

Mumbai: Ranveer Singh is proud of how his music label IncInk has grown over the past two years. The actor, who started the initiative with Navzar Eranee, says he doesn’t want newcomers to go through what he experienced when he began his career as an actor. “When I had decided to chase my dream of becoming an actor years ago, it wasn’t easy getting my foot in the door. I was fortunate enough to build my career through a combination of hard work, passion, and self-belief. I told myself back then that when I become relatively successful, I will try and do something for my fellow dreamers. That’s when the germ of IncInk was sown in my head,” he says.

Ranveer is “blown away” by the talent he has seen so far. “Today, I feel grateful to have been able to provide a platform to some outstanding new talents. I am blown away by the music that these brilliant young artistes have created, and I am continually impressed at their ability to express and create art that is disruptive.”

The actor is especially proud of discovering some artists such as Kaam Bhaari, Spitfire, Devil – The Rhymer, and SlowCheeta. “They have evolved into serious musical prodigies of our generation who are now being appreciated far and wide. IncInk has tried to be a vehicle for their artistic growth, becoming the wind beneath the wings of these rare gems,” he asserts.

Ranveer wants to work on his label and make it a genre-fluid collective. “Being fluid in this endeavour through genre music, video, visual art, and experiences is what we do here. Ink is a beacon for artists. I would like it to be a lighthouse on the shore. If we can inspire something new, reach somebody unreachable and touch someone so they feel included that would be fulfilling,” he says.

With this initiative, the actor urges budding artists not to give up. “People who work just as hard, oftentimes don’t get that chance and may never get it. Mine was a million to one shot, I was prepared to risk it all and found my opportunity. Even though I often felt discouraged, I persevered. If you don’t get it, if you fall, don’t stay down, get up, keep playing. Always be inspired to play. I want to lead by example. So, that’s what we will do through IncInk,” concludes Ranveer.

Priya Banerjee started her career with the Telugu film ‘Kiss’ and is winning our hearts since then. Her web show ‘Bhanwar’ came in the lockdown which made it to the headline before its release. Priya has also been shooting for a South web series, ‘11th Hour’. She mesmerised her fans with her bold and beautiful avatar in ‘Twisted 3’. The actress will also be seen in ‘Jamai Raja 2.0’ and ‘Bekaboo 2’.

Priya spoke exclusively to The Sunday Guardian and told us about ‘Bekaboo 2’.

Q.How excited are you for being a part of ‘Bekaboo 2’?

Well, ‘Bekaboo 1’ did so amazingly well that I was sure that people would be waiting for Season 2. Being a part of a hit franchise is always great.

Q.How different is Season 1 from Season 2?

Season 2 is a continuation of Season 1 so to understand what’s going on in Season 2 you must watch Season 1. Also, there are many more new characters this season with new twists and turns. It will keep you hooked to your seats.

Q.What does your character look like in the series? How relatable is it?

Kashti is very different in this season. She’s just like a girl next door who’s fun and loves doing exciting stuff. She’s more relatable this season for sure. I have put in a lot of efforts to make sure I entertain the audience and my fans with my performance as Kashti. Because of ‘Bekaboo’ people know me as Kashti so I have to live up to the name always.

Q.How different is the experience of working for a web series from a film?

Other than the medium where it releases it’s no different at all. The process of shooting is always the same but not denying shooting for OTT gives you a lot of liberty to explore your character and acting skills. You can play with the script and the way you want your character to be portrayed.
