With 10,000 seats, city to get largest co-working space

Noida: The city is all set to open doors to its largest co-working space — a five-lakh sqft 10,000-seater facility at Sector 132 — in what could be seen as one of the biggest such ventures planned in the post-lockdown period.
The facility is being set up by Incuspaze, which rented a space at Urbtech Trade Centre near Noida-Greater Noida Expressway in Sector 132.
Talking to TOI, Sanjay Chatrath, managing partner of Incuspaze, said “Things have changed a lot after the Covid-induced lockdown. It has changed the way people work. Several companies have conducted employee mapping and found out where most of their employees live. They have diversified their offices by branching out with the help of co-working spaces. Many of our clients just want us to customise their sections they had set up on their office floors. These firms want to provide employees flexibility and easy access to work areas. So, instead of employees having to travel so far to reach their work areas, offices are coming closer home.”
The facility is likely to be ready in three months. The price range is between Rs 5,000 and 7,000 per seat.
“The city is witnessing a spike in demand for co-working spaces near Noida Expressway as many development projects like Film City will be coming up in the area in the next three years. Situated amid residential complexes along Noida Expressway, Urbtech Trade Centre will have a state-of-the-art co-working facility. Commuting from the new facility to NMRC corridor near Noida Special Economic Zone (NSEZ), Sector 83, Sector 137 and Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will be easy,” Chatrath added.
“Incuspaze recently added a 2.5-lakh sq ft facility in Gurgaon to its array of managed office spaces and launched the biggest co-working space in Vadodara in January,” a company source said.
