BSP invites Sidhu to join party

Ropar, March 31

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) invited Navjot Singh Sidhu to join the party here today. Punjab BSP president Jasvir Singh Garhi said Sidhu’s recent tweets indicated that he was not happy in the Congress and the BSP was ready to welcome him in case he opted to switch over.

Garhi, who was interacting with mediapersons, said his party would never talk to the BJP for alliance in the state as the latter had attempted to crush farmers and labourers by enacting the controversial laws. “We can consider any other party working in the interests of state’s people for a political alliance,” he said. — TNS
