ED files prosecution complaint against naxal Arvind Yadav in Patna

New Delhi, Apr 1 (UNI) Directorate of Enforcement (ED) on Thursday said that it has filed a prosecution complaint against Arvind Yadav, a Left Wing Extremist (LWE) and his family members before Patna Special Court for PMLA.

The probe agency initiated investigation on the basis of 61 FIRs registered by Bihar Police and in some of them, charge-sheets have also been filed against Arvind Yadav, a notorious Naxalite and an active member, a leader of the banned Left-Wing Extremist (LWE) and proscribed outfit CPI (Maoist).

“Money laundering investigation revealed that Arvind Yadav and his family members invested the said proceeds of crime in various movable and immovable properties including land and house constructed thereon valued Rs 1,02,88,611 and one truck valued Rs 11,00,000 in the name of his family members and associates”, the ED said in a statement on Thursday.
