Last rites of man who died after vax held in MP

Noida: The last rites of 49-year-old Samay Lal Yadav, who passed away an hour and 15 minutes after taking his first dose of Covishield, were conducted at Hinauti village in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, on Wednesday.
“We got his body on Tuesday afternoon after post-mortem and left for our village around 6.45 pm. We reached Hinauti at 11 pm. Since Wednesday early morning, several friends, relatives and neighbours have visited us,” said Dhruv, Yadav’s nephew.
Vanaspati, Yadav’s elder brother, said: “His two children will be here for at least 15 days till all rituals are over. Then I will accompany them to Noida so that they can settle down and the children can resume classes. The children and their mother will stay with my son, who is a first-year student pursuing a degree course from an open university in Delhi.”
Yadav and his two school-going children used to stay in Nithari and he worked as a driver at Vishwa Bharti School. His wife and the rest of the family stayed in Hinauti.
The couple’s daughter is a Class 12 student at Mahavir School in Sector 29 and their son studies in Class 10 in the same school. On Wednesday, Anamika, Yadav’s eldest daughter, was present during his last rites, along with her husband and other family members. Yadav had hypertension and angina, according to officials.
